Usagi.

Usagi Tsukino (月野 うさぎ) is the Sailor Guardian of love and justice, Sailor Moon (セーラームーン). She is originally from a prosperous civilization on the Moon known as the Moon Kingdom, which existed during an era known as Silver Millennium in the prehistoric age. She was later reborn on Earth and re-awakened as the leader of the Sailor Senshi.

Appearance

Civilian FormUsagi has blue eyes and long blonde hair that she wears in odango, porcelain skin and a slim figure. She is also the shortest of the Senshi, standing at just 5'2.2"/158 cm. In the manga, Chibiusa describes Usagi's physique as having long and slender legs, a full chest, soft, long flowing hair, and calls her really pretty. In the Stars arc, Princess Kakyuu states that throughout the galaxy the Solar System Senshi are envied for their beauty and power. The outfit that Usagi usually wears is a standard Azabu Juban senior high school uniform. Her sailor collar, ribbon, pleated skirt and back ribbon are dark blue and the two stripes are red. When in civilian clothing, she tends to dress in a girly and cute fashion, wearing pastels often and clothes with frills and pleats.

Eternal Sailor MoonWhen Usagi becomes Eternal Sailor Moon, she no longer wears a tiara and instead has a golden crescent moon on her forehead, her leotard no longer has chest armor, her earrings have a golden star attached beneath each crescent moon, and her choker is red and v-shaped with a pink heart at the center and a golden crescent moon beneath it.The collar itself is like her original one, but it is a darker shade of blue with three golden stripes. In the place of her shoulder pads are pink bubble-like sleeves with two red fittings at the ends; they have somewhat of a translucent aspect to them.In the area where her chest bow was located is a pair of white angel wings with a pink heart that has a golden crescent moon attached to it sitting at its center. Her gloves now have red, v-shaped wristbands with golden crescent moons on them, the fittings at the ends of the gloves have feather barrettes attached to them similar to the ones in her hair, and the gloves themselves are now extended to reach up to her upper arms. Her belt is now comprised of two ribbons (the one on top is yellow and the one beneath it is red) clipped together by a golden crescent moon; the bottom ribbon extends past her skirt, mimicking the flowing effect that her previous back bow had. Her back bow is replaced with a set of large white angel wings, her skirt is now composed of three layers (the top layer is yellow, the middle layer is red, the bottom layer is blue), and her boots are now white and knee-length with a slightly larger heel and red v-shaped borders that have golden crescent moons on them.

In Stars act 54, Princess Kakyuu from Planet Kinmoku reveals that the beautiful, strong Solar System guardians are envied throughout the galaxy. She also states that when Usagi and Mamoru joined hands, a vision of the future King and Queen of Earth entered everyone's minds across the universe. If your character is from a planet far from Earth, it's entirely possible for them to know Usagi based on that vision of their images, since space-time denotes they've already seen the imagery (think "future" because of lightyears, like Interstellar) despite her not yet becoming Queen in Earth-time.

In the beginning of the series, Usagi is seen to be a cheerful, immature girl. She cries easily and is often overtaken with emotion. She also displays an unwavering hope and sees good in her enemies that others may not. Usagi has a pure heart and is always there for everyone. She can be jealous at times, especially over her lover Mamoru, but overall is a kind, strong, courageous girl. She stands up for what is right and believes everyone deserves love.

Usagi Tsukino can transform into Sailor Moon by calling out her transformation phrase, and she can transform into anyone she desires by using her transformation pen and saying "Moon Power, change me into a...!" and the name of the one she desires to be.Her attacks have moonlight, love, healing and purification attributes, as a reflection of her tendency to not fight.

Items

Eternal Moon Article (anime only)

The Eternal Moon Article is the brooch that Usagi Tsukino used in the 90s anime to transform into Eternal Sailor Moon using her phrase 'Moon Eternal, Make Up!'. When the four Inner Sailor Guardians and the four Outer Sailor Guardians combined their powers and directed them towards the Crisis Moon Compact, it upgraded into the Eternal Moon Article. The compact was a yellow heart with a small crescent moon accent at the bottom Set around the central heart and moon jewel details are nine colored stones, representing each Sailor Guardians' colors. Three gold dots accent each wing, and a gold sphere accents the top. When seen on her everyday dress, the compact appears as a plain gold heart and moon shape. When transformed, the compact looks the same, but framed by white wings, matching the larger set of wings on her outfit.

Holy Moon Chalice

In the manga and Crystal/Eternal, the Holy Grail was upgraded to the Holy Moon Chalice during the Dreams arc, and it allowed Usagi Tsukino to transform into Eternal Sailor Moon using her phrase 'Silver Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!'.

Eternal Tiare

The Eternal Tiare is the strongest and most powerful moon-based weapon Super Sailor Moon received when she evolved into Eternal Sailor Moon in both the manga and original anime. In the anime it is a hand-held wand like her previous items, but in the manga and Eternal it is a staff taller than herself. It was used to perform Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss, and eventually Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss. The Silver Crystal sits atop it.In the manga, the Eternal Tiare appeared when Usagi gained the power to transform into her Eternal form and it was never upgraded. It was broken when Sailor Moon fought the Sailor Senshi under Sailor Galaxia's control in Act 58, but she recreated it shortly afterward with no apparent difficulty. As with the Spiral Heart Moon Rod, the Eternal Tiare's abilities are tremendously strengthened with another magical artifact (the Holy Moon Chalice) to perform an even stronger and more powerful attack.

Silver Crystal

The Silver Crystal (幻の銀水晶; often translated as Illusionary Silver Crystal) possesses tremendous power and is possibly one of the single most powerful magical artifact in the entire galaxy. The Crystal can perform spectacular feats, such as reviving an entire world and all of its inhabitants from death and ruin.It first appears in Act 9, when Tuxedo Mask protected Sailor Moon from Kunzite; her grief caused her to remember that she was Princess Serenity, and he remembered he was Prince Endymion. When Tuxedo Mask then died in her arms, the pain was too much, especially when she recalled their former lives; a tear fell from her cheek and glowed immensely bright, forming the Silver Crystal. Its light healed all of those it touched, and a part of it went inside of Tuxedo Mask's body, which was then stolen by Kunzite. The crystal is usually used to defeat the final villain of each story arc. It had two primary powers; the ability to generate a powerful, magical attack, and the power to rejuvenate. Additionally, it seems that the Silver Crystal has both more control and focused power when attached to the Moon Stick, though, eventually, Usagi becomes so in-tune with its power, she no longer needs the Moon Stick. It was revealed that it served as Eternal Sailor Moon's own Sailor Crystal, evolving into what is known as the Silver Moon Crystal.Unfortunately, the strain of using the Silver Crystal's power in such a way often causes the user to lose their life, as that power actually derives from the life force of the user. However, it has been shown that if several other individuals add their own inner power to the wielder's efforts, they will be spared this fate, but left in a weakened state afterward.Only a member of the Moon Kingdom dynasty can actually use the Silver Crystal, and it was shown as the source of Queen Serenity's power during the Silver Millennium; Serenity's daughter Sailor Moon and granddaughter Chibiusa each go on to inherit the Crystal in their own right. When in use, the Crystal's dazzlingly bright and supremely powerful light is often white but can appear in shades of pink, fuchsia, or magenta. The Silver Crystal has the following known abilities:

  • Reincarnate/revive the deceased

  • Restore memories

  • Turn evil to good

  • Reincarnate monsters into humans

  • Fend off dark energy

  • Healing abilities

  • Spread its power through the entire planet

  • Energy beams and blasts

  • Protective shields and barriers

Sailor CrystalsA "Sailor Crystal" is a Star Seed that belongs to every Sailor Guardian. In the manga, a Sailor Guardian who protects their respective planet possesses a special Star Seed called a Sailor Crystal. Star Seeds are the life force of individuals - they are the soul of a person. Star Seeds are born in the Galaxy Cauldron, but some of these Star Seeds develop into Sailor Crystals, which grow into planets and guardians for those planets.

As for its apparent power, it has been described by many villains to have infinite power and allow total control of the planet, with an inexhaustible reserve of energy. It was apparently so powerful that Chaos wanted to use it to create an entire planet, allowing her to be a Sailor Senshi of her own.

Eternal Sailor Moon's Powers

The Courage of Acceptance

The "power of courage to throw it all away...and accept anyone and everything". Eternal Sailor Moon can place her life on the line and accept her foes as they are. This is a recurring theme throughout the series.

Lambda Power

Eternal Sailor Moon used this power to purify the Galaxy Cauldron and with it revive everyone taken by Shadow Galactica, including herself, except Chaos. Sailor Cosmos also describes this healing power abstractly as "the power to create a static universe" which suggests it can act at a cosmological scale.

Attacks

"Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss" is an extremely powerful moon-based/healing-based attack performed by Eternal Sailor Moon in the anime, manga, musicals and Sailor Moon Eternal. It also was one of Eternal Sailor Moon's most powerful attacks. When Sailor Moon used this attack in the anime, the Eternal Tiare appeared with a flash of pink light, then producing streams of rainbow-colored light from the crystal at the top of the Tiare. It began to spin fast and she appeared behind it, hands outstretched to guide the spinning Tiare above her head and then in front of herself once more. (Beginning in episode 176, there was the addition of feathers that flew across the screen as the Tiare moved above her head.) She then grabbed hold of the Tiare with her right hand and light flashed. She called out the name of the attack as she spun around, holding the Tiare above her head, and on the final word raised it high in the air with both hands. Pink light flared at the top of the Tiare and streamed toward the target in multiple waves; if the target was a Phage, a torrent of feathers would also rush past it, then the Phage cried out "Beautiful!" before returning to his or her normal state. There is also a double-attack she performs with Chibi-Moon called Starlight Honeymoon Double Therapy Kiss.

"Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss" is a moonlight-based attack performed by Eternal Sailor Moon. This attack was used to heal a human who had become a phage after its Star Seed was extracted using Galaxia's Bracelets by the Sailor Animamates.

Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power

"Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power" is Eternal Sailor Moon's last and most powerful energy attack in the manga, being used in Act 60.It uses the direct power of the Silver Crystal with the objective to cause the Sailor Crystals inside the Galaxy Cauldron to fly out in all directions at Chaos until it breaks apart, thus destroying or sealing away Chaos until it returns sometime around Sailor Cosmos' far future. I am of the opinion Sailor Cosmos is Usagi's future form.

Mun Info.

Hi, I'm the writer for Usagi-chan. You can call me Hani! I've been a fan of Sailor Moon since I was about 16-18 (I got into it late lol) and I am 26 this year. I have a lot of SM content saved on my PC, and I make all my edits myself using the resources I've gathered over the years. I write with a mix of manga and anime influence, focusing more on the Stars manga arc as that is my favorite arc overall. Usagi will more often than not be 16, give or take, as I really enjoy her maturity she gains throughout the seasons toward Stars. Absolutely no nsfw, but multiverse characters welcome!
